Tea and Therapy: Black History Month, Reclaiming Narratives

Join Dr. Kimberly for February’s Tea and Therapy: Black History month, reclaiming personal and historical narratives.  What stories have you told yourself?  What stories have you been told?  How do these stories impact you as an individual? How do they impact your community? And what impact do they have on individual and collective mental health?  Does the past hold you back or move you forward? Participants will: Examine the impact history has on well-being and mental health. Explore personal and historical narratives that interfere with optimal well-being.  Explore tools and techniques to rewrite detrimental narratives. Learn how to use the past to propel you forward.                   This event is open to all. Developed for women of color.   Suggested donation of $10.00 and/or purchase of food and drink are greatly appreciated to ensure the continued offering of Tea and Therapy.
