      INVerse Dedication & Indiana Arts Homecoming Opening Party

      Join Indiana Poet Laureate Adrian Matejka, Indiana Humanities and the Indiana Arts Commission for the INverse Poetry Archive launch party! INverse celebrates and preserves the diverse range of Indiana poetry for future generations of Indiana writers and readers. It is a collaboration of Indiana Poet Laureate Adrian Matejka, the Indiana State Library and the Indiana Arts Commission. The launch doubles as the opening event of the 2019 Indiana Arts Homecoming.  The reception will feature interactive poetry activities, recent Poetry Out Loud competitors performing works by Indiana’s past Poets Laureate, and lots of time for mingling with other arts and poetry lovers over complimentary drinks and snacks. 5pm: Doors open 5:30pm-5:45pm: Poetry Out Loud performances and remarks by Adrian Matejka 6:30pm: Event concludes This event is free and open to the public but advance registration is kindly requested.
