Join us Sunday, June 23rd for a wonderful tea time presnted by Tina’s Traditional Tea Room at the Billie Lou Wood Visitor Center. The event will harken back to afternoon teas of the early 1840s, when the tradition was made popular. Established by Anne Russell, Duchess of Bedford, England we are bringing the afternoon tea to 528 Lockerbie Street! Ticket includes walk-through tours of the Museum Home, and a presentation on the history of tea time and its place in Victorian America. Enjoy scrumptious sandwiches, classic scones and delicious desserts paired with the finest selection of loose teas. Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite cherished tea cup. Attire: Comfortable Sunday best or Victorian attire if so desired. A small prize will be given out to the best period outfit!  Cost: $25 per person
